Book Dedication

First, this book is dedicated to the thousands of clients who have entrusted their most serious legal problem to my care, seeking a favorable resolution.  Their collective courage in putting their freedom, driving privileges and futures on the line by persevering through difficult and uncertain legal terrain, against all odds, have been an inspiration and a motivator for me to continue fighting these politically-charged cases.  I hope that this book will inspire more citizens to fight for their legal rights through courts across America in the quest to assure that the Constitution is applied to impaired driving cases the same way that it is to a capital murder prosecution.

I also must thank my father, the late Louis B. Head, who convinced me early in life to not take the easy road to life’s challenges.  From extolling the importance and inherent value of hard work to fanatically training me to never quit at sports, he drilled discipline and competitiveness into my very psyche.  His stories and words of praise about successful criminal defense attorneys winning difficult criminal trials through dedication and perseverance made quite an impression on me as a teenager.

Finally, thanks must be given to my wife, Kristen Campbell-Head, Esq., for sacrificing hundreds of nights and weekends of personal time for me to tackle this book.  Her acceptance and understanding of the importance of this endeavor were essential to me being able to complete the book.
